L'Azyl occupies a narrow stone-walled room on Rue Saint-Firmin, a few steps from the Place de la Canourgue. It is Montpellier's most reliably busy gay bar across the week, combining a well-priced happy hour (17h–20h) with DJ nights on Fridays and Saturdays that transform the small space into a genuine pre-club. The crowd is mixed — a lot of students and young professionals — and the music policy leans toward French and international pop, electro and RnB. It is the most natural continuation after Café de la Mer if you want to keep the night going.

I came with a group of children ages 10-11 years old. We participated in the Willy Wonka escape. It was great however a little scary for some children and they weren't very reactive to that. They were super friendly but should be vigilant with younger kids. Some are more sensitive than others. Great fun for those that weren't though, which is why I gave it 3 stars. A quick addition: I would have said more right after however I only found out after that more kids were scared. Only one was VERY scared. Some kids did love it too.
We did the joker escape game - it was excellent and Robin was great. My sister screamed so loudly 😂
We did the Willy Wonka game - really fun with a good level of difficulty. We loved the Oompa Loompa coming in to check on us.
Super moment chez Willy Wonka ! Merci Aline !
