Prague Pride is Central Europe's largest LGBTQ+ festival, transforming the Czech capital for a week each July. The festival parade through the Old Town and Wenceslas Square draws hundreds of thousands of participants and spectators, passing the cobbled squares and Gothic spires of one of Europe's most beautiful city centers.
Czech society is among Central Europe's most progressive on LGBTQ+ issues, and Prague Pride reflects this: the event is well-funded, broadly attended, and increasingly international. The festival program includes concerts at Letná Park, film screenings, art exhibitions, and the legendary Pride Village in Holešovice — a massive outdoor festival area running for the full week.
